Designing New Materials with Computations
Your Research
you will work in a team to develop computational tools to study the behaviour of droplets inside a nonlinear fluid. You will use an open-source code, partially developed in our lab to solve the modified governing equations of the fluid (Navier Stokes). No previous knowledge of hydrodynamics is required. Programming languages are C++ and Python.
Methods involved
Theory: computational hydrodynamics
Supervisors: Mazi Jalaal (m.jalaal@uva.nl), Tom Appleford (t.appleford@uva.nl)
